Rock barriers are an effective and permanent solution method to ensure the safety and security against rock and stone fall in urban areas, highways, railways, mining areas and industrial structures, on wide and high slopes or where temporary measures are not possible.
Rock retaining barrier applications are positioned on the slope or slope surface, in the transition zone and impact zone areas following the rupture zone, considering the fall speed, jump height and path of potential rocks. Rock barriers have an energy absorption capacity from 250kj to 10,000kj. Rock barriers consisting of various structural elements must comply with EOTA and ETAG 027 standards.
